October 15 (Tue) A Knitting Basket – create a 10″x6″ knitting basket with Mary Jeanne Luckey at the Gallery Art Barn

October 19 (Sat) Waterfall Photography with Matt Cohen (meet at Castle In The Clouds to photograph 7 accessible waterfalls and fall foliage; DSLR and smartphones)

November 5 (Tue) Thanksgiving Pie Basket – create a 9″ diameter basket with Mary Jeanne Luckey at ArtWorks

As a result of our (2024) 4th Annual Charity Silent Auction, we were more than thrilled to present checks for $1,500 each to our two selected and deserving community organizations!

In the first photo below is White Horse Recovery director Mitch Yeaton (left) receiving a check from ArtWorks Gallery board member Ann Lambert. In the second photo Jennie Blair (right), board member of Mount Washington Valley Eaters & Growers, is receiving a check also from ArtWorks’ Ann Lambert.

HOLIDAY CARD SETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR BULK ORDERING!

Looking for sets of holiday cards? Look no further! ArtWorks is now offering bulk ordering of member artist blank greeting cards just in time for the holidays!

Order by November 15 for Dec 1st pick up at ArtWorks. For orders later than Nov 15, call ArtWorks. Cards include envelopes. 50% due at time of order, the rest when you pick up.

Matt Cohen & Marty Koons have 4×6 sets of 4 card priced at $19 a sets of 10 for $38. Stephanie Kenney’s 4×6 sets of 4 cards are $15 and sets of 10 are $36. JP Goodwin has 4×6 sets of 6 cards for $13 and 3.5×8.5 sets of 6 cards for $18. See below for images of their cards.

June 2023:

We had a fabulous First Night reception Friday June 2nd at ArtWorks Gallery as a gregarious group of Bob Gordon’s friends and community members gathered to celebrate the life and work of our beloved artist Robert Gordon, lift a glass, marvel at his body of work, and tell wonderful stories of a dear friend. Here is a collage of some pictures from this wonderful event:

ArtWorks Honors Ned Eldredge

Ned Eldredge along with his partner, Myles Grinstead, Marybeth Bliss and Peter VanderLaan began ArtWorks/CCAC in a sometime booth at the Farmer’s Market just to test the Gallery scene in Tamworth.

Ned was a fine cabinetmaker supplying ArtWorks Gallery with handsome cutting boards, finely finished utencils and stunningly simple, originally designed and crafted furnishings.

He and Myles decamped to Machias, Maine a few years ago but still found time to produce and bring to the Gallery pottery and fine wood pieces which we delight in sharing with you.

After a long and challenging battle with cancer, Ned passed in March 2023.

ArtWorks honors his memory.
